So it’s that time of year. The time I start watching the Academy Awards and about 30 minutes in I start to wonder why I do this to myself. This year is no different.

I started watching the E on the red Carpet to see all the best and worst of Oscar fashion.

Now I am not a fashion expert at all, so I just look at the gowns for what they are. Either I like them or I don’t. I doesn’t matter if it took 10 months and 200 people to make it, or they got it off the rack.

Now here are my picks for the best.

 

The Good -Mindy Kaling, some people hated it, but I loved the way she looked and she remains one of my favourites. Also I loved her makeup and hair

 

 

The Ugly -What the hell is this trying to be. I am at a loss for how bad this is Heidi. You are a supermodel I have no idea why you continue to look so bad on the red carpet.

The Bad-Liked the colour, and…… well she won so that is a plus. I thought the belt look ridiculous

 

 

The Bad & Ugly – I read that this dress cost a lot of money. Her shoes reminded me of those platform flip flops that women wear to the mall in the summer. I have nothing else to say about this white tablecloth.

The Good(ish)- It was like they had extra black fabric and decided to make two dress out of it. I like them both, but have seem them look better

 

The Good- I probably would have gone with a different top, I loved this look and thought it worked perfectly on Lady Gaga

The Bad- This hurts me. I LOVE this colour green (its my favourite) and I have always said Rachael Mc Admas would play me in my life story, but this looks like someone needs to steam out those winkles right in the front. I expected more

The Best – Duh look at it. Thanks. Now lets move on.

 

The Bad (ish)- Cate seems to do no wrong at award show, I love the colour ( see my review of Rachael McAdams) but I am not sure of the craft flowers from Michaels.

 

And now for my pick for the Worst dress at the Oscars

The Worst Dressed goes to this curtain, I mean dress that Amy Pohler decided to wear. Now I am sure this was super comfortable, but is was also super awful.

The best dressed- Saoirse Ronan looked amazing. I was not expecting her to hold her own in this gorgeous green (again my favourite colour )  grown. I probably won’t run out and see this movie any-time soon, but that dress was the winner
